Everything your conscious of is a product if your mind. Although this seems obvious, most mistake the representation they have in their mind of something for the real thing. I, on the other hand am extremely self conscious about my limitations so im humble and open minded. Normies are bigoted, short sighted, violent.

Good cope if you can manage to believe it.



But can also feel rather depressing. I prefer "afterlife-cope" where everything will be awesome for me in a fantasy landscape while all the evil ones will be punished in hell. That always stopped me from fully embracing Buddhism: this idea of emptiness (sunyata) and non-self (anatta). Of course, there are all kinds of religious assumptions coming with it and how emptiness is not nothingness and so on - but at the end of the day, I found it as depressing as atheism. Maybe even more depressing as Western atheism does not claim that all "five aggregates of clinging" are empty.
