I am an Anarcho-Capitalist/Voluntaryist, I do not believe we need a state for utterly anything. All relationships should be voluntary and without violence, coercion or force. I further believe that any government is by defualt a criminal organization as they believe they have rulership over you. To me no government has ever legitimately aquired all land they lay claim to. That all taxation is theft, because it is not done by one's own will but you are compelled by force, if you do not obey you either get thrown into prison or killed by the state sending in armed men to force you to comply or die. In principle we all own our own bodies and this is the first private property we own when we are conceived and that no one has any right to control us or infringe on our natural rights. To say that you have to obey government means that you are not the owner of your own body but a slave to the government, if you do not own yourself to whom are you a slave? In a Voluntary society there would be private security instead of police and we can choose to defund them by going to other competitve companies working hard for our money. That each and every individual woud be capable of carrying their own guns. An armed society is a polite society. That crimes would be handled through insurance companies. Here is a detailed explanation of how that would work!

The courts in an Anarcho Capitalist world would be run by private insurance companies the way this would work is that this person let’s call him Steve would pay an insurance company 10 dollars a month let’s call this insurance company Green Justice. If Steve is attacked, robbed, raped, murdered he would have a contract with Green Justice they would send out their own private investigator to investigate the crime, they would voluntarily get video footage around if there are cameras nearby where the crime took place or would use other methods. The Green Justice company would pay Steve the damages he received or even more than that depending what is in the contract. Green Justice would hunt down the offender and once they do they would send him or her a letter telling the individual that they owed X amount X for the crime and X amount for the investigation cost as restitution for the crime inflicted. If the person does not comply then Green Justice would resort by taking money out of bank account by contacting his own banking company and informing them of the crime he has committed, or maybe they would send armed men to his home and take things of value until the debt is paid or they would forcibly arrest him and force him or her to pay the restitution payment the individual owes. The individual might have an insurance company of his own called Red Defence, so the person may call Red Defence and have them talk to Green Justice they would probably launch their own investigation and come to agree or not agree with Green Justice. If they agree with Green Justice they will not defend their client and then Green Justice would be able to get the restitution payments made as probably no one would jump to the accused defence. If they do not agree with Green Justice how does this end? Does this end with both companies sending in armed men and start shooting at each other until one of the companies are destroyed? I would say no. Violence would be expensive not to mention the danger of losing clients as they decide to take their money elsewhere. No Green Justice and Red Defence would go by a 3rd party arbitrator and they would both sign a contract to the 3rd party arbitrator that whoever the 3rd party arbitrator agrees with they would abide by their decision. The 3rd party arbitrator would be one that both companies can agree to. If one company then breaks the promise because of whatever reasons they have they would most likely loose customers and clients because they broke their word and most likely any company that attempts this would go out of business and bankrupt. If the individual wants to declare himself a company that is fine that same process would still happen and the end results would still be the same.
What if the crime was serious like murder or rape? The insurance company again would have their own list of punishments and that we will do X to you if you do Y. Green Justice may have their own private prisons in which to banish dangerous people that cannot be out in society. Other ways that Green Defence may punish the convicted is by contacting the offenders power company, water line company, banking company to do things like shutting off their power, turning off their water supply having the banking company taking money out of their accounts to pay for the damages done. Most people want to be treated fairly so they would only fund companies on what they think are fair and reasonable punishments to offenders and if their not then they would not fund them. I believe this gives a good insight on one way that ancapistan courts would work I say one way is because I do not know of all the ways that private courts might handle crime they may come up with entirely different solutions that I or you have not thought of yet what I describe is 1 way private courts could operate. The insuarance company may also use a thing called blacklisting instead of trying to imprison someone they get blacklisted instead, which means they will not be able to buy from many private buisnesses or get empolyed almost really anywhere. There may still be places he or she can go but they will probably give up in the end.

To answer the question of how roads would be funded and built a private company would build a road that they think might be profitable an entrepreneur or a business may want to set up shop on that road so they would go to the road owner and negotiate a contract or they might not get one. If they get one construction would begin and once that store is up and running they would have probably of negotiated of weekly, biweekly or monthly payments of X amount or X percentage or a combination of both as the road owner would be their landlord. The road may also use tolls to collect money, it is more likely to be free as in to attract people to drive on their roads so they visit the shops and buy things so it generates revenue for the road owners. The road owners would also find it in their best interest to keep the roads updated and paved so people would continue to drive on it instead of choosing to avoid it to do possible damage to their own vehicles. Roads would be in far better condition than most roads you see today since they would be under private ownership and since they would want to have a continuous flow of money that comes from the private businesses that set up shop on their roads. The problem with government roads is that under government ownership they care far less about repairing those roads and sometimes will repair them or resurface them at your expense. To answer the question of what about the road laws well they would be replaced by road rules. Some road owners may demand that people have a license plate on their vehicles to be able to travel on their roads and others would not demand any license the road rules would be fairly similar to the road rules we have now. Things like speed limits may not be too much of a thing in Ancapistan as there may be none on a lot of roads or there may be speed limits on a lot of roads as the road owner would not want there to be crashes. Safety I do believe would be an important factor with those roads.

For things like healthcare it is better left alone for the free market to deal with
Every year healthcare costs keep on increasing while things like tv’s, computers and other luxury items go down in price why is this? The reason is simple is because those luxury things are left largely alone by the government as they are not seen as essential where as healthcare is. The problem is that the government thinks it’s best to have a one payer system but with any centralization it is actually the worst. Government’s ridiculous IP laws have dramatically increased costs of healthcare costs as healthcare businesses are able to lobby the government and outlaw competitive forces. An ambulance ride is expensive because no one is allowed to run a business where they will take you there, instead these hospitals have gotten in bed with the government and made it so that you are not allowed to do that. These laws and regulations is what has made healthcare so incredibly expensive not to mention the government filtering out doctors. All of this is unnecessary because all the bad doctors would get bad reviews would be blacklisted from private hospitals and if damage is done would find themselves getting sued so that they would have to pay restitution damages to the victim. We do not need this government bureaucracy blocking out doctors that they would have to compete against for your money drastically lowering prices. If the regulations and IP were removed no longer would you have to pay thousands of dollars to get a pill as the pill can be mass produced on a massive scale. Without regulation and IP there would be many more hospitals and costs would go down drastically. There would come about health insurance companies where you pay a monthly service and they will pay the hospital for medical bills you have that cover X,Y and Z. The more choices the better the less the worse. Healthcare used to be very cheap in the united states now it's ungodly expensive.

For things like welfare would be replaced by charities.
Charities would be able to be for profit in a voluntary world so nothing would be limiting them, the more charities the better.
People would give money voluntarily instead of by force, it would be good reputation for companies to donate and there may even be competition in donations.
Charities have been proven to spend the money far better than the government as those who truly need it would get it.

This is only part of how a voluntary society would work. A good book to read is the machinery of freedom it gives you more details and explains how other things like military defense would work. How we could have gotten to the moon for a profit.

This explains what my beliefs are.
