Two weeks ago my (35F) friend (34F) met a guy she had been talking to online for a few weeks. He wasn’t from the area (about 45 minutes away), so he mentioned having got a hotel when they met up. She made it clear that they were just hanging out and that she would not be staying with him there or sleeping with him. He said he totally understood.
After spending all day outside and having had a few drinks, he invited her back to the hotel to get dinner so that she would feel safe driving home after the drinks they had. She again made it clear that they would not be having sex, and he told her he would be “a perfect gentleman.” She hesitantly agreed, but went with him as she wanted to be fully sober while driving. She also had a nice day with him- holding hands, talking, and nothing else physical had happened.
Upon getting to the hotel, they ordered dinner and continued their conversation. Things were uneventful through dinner arriving. Because she was having a great time and liked him- she accepted a kiss from him. His demeanor completely changed and he became extremely physically aggressive. Within seconds his hands were pulling her clothes off and she was telling him to stop and slow down. He shoved his hands down her pants and pinned her down. I won’t describe the rest, but he continued until he had raped her. The whole thing was done in under 5 minutes and he tossed a towel at her when he was done saying “here’s a cum rag.” She said she felt numb and frozen as she pulled her clothes on and she left without saying anything else to each other.
She called me sobbing after and told me what happened, but said she wanted to forget the whole thing and completely refused to report it. She blames herself for putting herself in a risky situation, but she made herself clear from the beginning that she didn’t want to have sex with him. She is getting tested for stds since he didn’t use a condom, but just blocked him on social media. Before she did this, I looked him up and saw his pictures and profile. Three days ago he liked me on the same dating app.
I’m trying to decide what to do with this information- if anything at all. Who knows how many women he has done this to, or how many more he will continue to victimize. I want to do something and not let this asshole get away with this disgusting behavior.

Making an anonymous poll so nobody feels pressured to vote "no" so as to not be considered a cuck. Please be impartial and vote based on whether you think what the guy did was wrong or not, even if you hate women.
If it's too long for you, the main part is in the paragraph in bold
