Absolutely. Anxiety, avoidance, paranoia, all are caused by environmental factors (genetics are only 1/3 or something of the cause). Ie not being chad, and getting shit on by everyone and ignored for years.

To be sure you'd have to do an experiment between people with similar physical characteristics and of the same age, sex, race and physical build,
with one kept isolated and home schooled and one sent to public school.
Then you would have to test their cognitive abilities and biases with standardized tests.

While a lot of mental illness comes from being treated badly some of it is genetic and others are more prone to develop mental illness no matter how they are treated.
