Well I can't socialize for more than a few hours with anyone outside of the incel community or 4chan. I just have nothing in common with normies and I sense that I seem strange to them. I can go long stretches without talking to anyone but sometimes I do want friends. I just don't understand how to have friends. I've never really had any. I need a personality for that I think

You don't need a personality. What you need are shared interests that temporarily bind you together in a social setting. This is "hanging out" and "doing stuff."
Do that enough times and acquaintances can grow into friendships. You start communicating more often and begin to start trusting each other with your more intimate thoughts and beliefs. When you resonate with another person on this level you develop an emotional bond that outwardly is classified as, and appears as, friendship.
All of this happens organically. It's never forced or contrived. If it feels that way at all, then it's superficial and not real.
A good personality, it just good looks.

To help you discover your own personal traits ask yourself the following questions:

>What brings me joy now?
>What's my biggest accomplishment?
>What are my dreams?
>What's my biggest fear?
Example of a "positive personality" would be stuff like being honest and taking responsibility for your actions.
Example of a "negative" one would be stuff like being a back stabbing cunt and lying to everyone you meet.
