At least 29 German tourists are killed as bus overturns on Madeira

The coach was taking 55 tourists and their guide from the Quinta Splendida hotel to Funchal, the island's capital, when it came off the road near the town of Canico, local reports say.

Also of note is the fact that the majority of victims were female. Looks like a few more german men won't be able to find a mate now!

Madeira hmm.. most of them are probably 70 years old if they are holidaying there so not much of a loss.
