There is no benefit to allowing women to pursue any means of seeking, accumulating, or signaling, status, other than marriage or family. It might be argued that they could make contributions to advancing science and technology or participating in economic production (and some can, and some do, there ARE talented and capable women) but for the most part they don't, and when they do, it is still only allowing them to consume future generations in exchange for relatively very modest material gains in the short term. Education, career, politics; these are always going to be most appealing to the women with the most and best options, the most talented and capable women. But we might prefer that such women - especially - stay home and make many talented and capable offspring instead, because those will ultimately be able to contribute a lot more than they can directly. All Western, 1st world, nations fail to make replacement level fertility and are plaugued by rampant dysgenia plunging us towards Idiocracy; and all will be, until we get this fixed.
Emancipated, empowered, women have nothing, and create nothing, with which to PAY for the rights and privileges they enjoy, over and above subordinated women. Supportive, submissive, women are far more valuable than emancipated, empowered, women. We need more women. We don't need more second rate men.
Emancipating, empowering, and enfranchising women is an idiotic experiment in conspicuous consumption which perhaps, at one time, we may have been able to afford. But the costs only spiral and the damage only compounds, and the demands only ever become more onerous and unreasonable. So now we definitely can't. It's definitely not the final stage in human social evolution. One way or another, it is merely a fleeting and unsustainable error.
