What really hit the forum hard was the sheer amount of good users banned throughout the last years + many mediocre to bad users staying and new ones coming.
The repetitiveness also sucks but it goes hand in hand with that because many good users would make the forum significantly less repetitive with their good threads. It could be argued that some of these users did not fit perfectly here, like @Fontaine and @Leucosticte , but their wider range of topics, points of view and interests did make the forum more interesting.
