Has there ever been a political movement that was started by the people and not the ruling class?

The way I see it, politics are the same in all aspects:
  • Most of society mirrors the views that the ruling class promotes through the media and big tech, but deludes itself into believing they're all somehow being rebellious (with all media, institutions and companies on their side), bc everyone wants to be a hero but without actually having what it takes.
  • Very few are against the establishment and have to be discreet about it, and get ostracized, oppressed, punished, fired... and snitched on by a proud mob who's happy to see the establishment punish dissenters.
It goes without saying that the current status quo, or "clown world", is promoted by the media and big tech. Whoever thinks this is just people standing up against some evil establishment is :feelstastyman: at this point.

eg. I used to think feminism was actually due to women as a whole wanting to have rights, but now I'm seeing that the ruling class is pushing a trans ideology that hurts feminism, and still most libfems support it and very few women are against trannys. Because it's just what the ruling class wants and therefore the view that the media, Twitter, Reddit etc enforce.

So my question is, is it always like this thoughtout history? Is the idea of people fighting the ruling class for civil rights a delusion? Or are there any (actual) historical examples of a considerable amount of people (not a few marginalized dissenters) uniting against what the media says?

Orwell wrote in 1984 that political movements are always started by an ambitious middle-class group that wants to end the rule of the ruling class.

Of course, once a ruling class is in power, they can force their own bullshit on the rest of society, the current "clown world" as you put it was indeed started from the very top.

yeah i guess that makes sense. the ruling class can change as long as a group that's powerful enough unites in the first place

it happened in Spain in 1939, a part of the army, with support from germany and italy (ruled by based governments back then), was done with leftist bullshit and overthrew them for like 40 years. idk how hitler and mussolini came to power though, bc apparently they had legit political parties and the leftist establishment let people vote for them. i guess they underestimated them.

during times of the middle ages and before that, when the media and fast transportation were not a thing and the ruling class had to physically travel across their domain in order for their servs to even know that someone rules over them and who that is.

it was hard to effectively rule over anyone at all. or even to enforce laws.

in modern times with the media around it has often been more educated people like students who have organised in secret meetings into movements. not sure if those count as being part of the ruling class or not since they are often technically children of rich people. a few autocrats have gotten themselves on such a bad side with their population that they had to flee and abdicate their positions. and i can think of many uprisings that would be considered rebellions who have been squashed.

Yes. The Nazis. Also the klan

i truly dont get how that came to be, specially the nazis and how they got so powerful after being ostracized for disagreeing with the ruling class (basically like now). i bet the elites just underestimated them and thought they had society under their thumb. just like how leftists now are getting more and more smug and digging their own grave (hopefully)

National Socialism. It was so successful, within a decade every powerful, rich, oligarch and politician was either dead or exiled. It was the first and only time in modern times when the bastards who had everybody by the balls actually got what they had coming to them.

How amazing would it be if something like that happened again. To see all the politicians and CEOs of every filthy corporation lined up and shot in the head. With all of them out of the way it might actually be possible to fix our society.

Or they lined up behind the nazis and supported their goals.

The Klan was for sure, but the Nazis not really.

Same happened in the USSR, the oligarchs and aristocracy were just replaced by the Politburo. Of course NS Germany treated its people much better, but despite all the stuff about Hitler representing the will of the German people, I doubt most Germans wanted to go to war in the East for living space.

These days, I'd assume that, like in 1984 any "movement" is setup by The Party itself to weed out the unruly and trouble-makers.

People are nigger sheep, they follow the herd and enjoy when the masters prod them with the tazer stick, they will never do shit without commands from above. I really hate my fellow people nowadays, everyone is a coward
