- Big Tech Giants beginning to centralize the internet in 2010 like google, facebook, reddit, etc.
- The death of internet forums
- death of chat rooms and AOL
- Death of Geocity websites
The 2010s was the era where the internet wasn't a "dark place" and it began appealing to the normies
- Part of it was the advent of smartphones
- the internet becoming more Politically Correct
- Viral videos changing the dynamic of how memes operate, i.e. the death of YTMND memes

We don't know for sure. I see a lot of normies online and in real life getting blackpilled so who knows.

A distant memory. 2010-2019 will be seen as the best decade of culture, like the peak of the Roman Empire. 2010-2019 will be seen as the Library of Alexandria, lost in time.
Although, there are some "hippies" (for a lack of a better word) as well as some older people who have lurked the internet longer that will bring a revival of 2010-2019 culture such as the example of dogelore memes.
That's the 80s for boomers and the 00s for the rest.

The groundwork for what we see now started in the 2000's but I don't think it really got super bad until like 2014.
Interestingly enough, everything can be lost since information is digital. Historians say this might be a dark age in history since we don't write things on rocks or paper anymore
You only think that because you were still in a controlled environment like school and too young to have seen the changes taking place in real time.
It started WAY before 2014, the trend started with MSN when chad had every girl in class adding him to their friends list and then with Facebook any incel tier/low normie man became either obselete or an ultra simp.
I think it because 2014 was when feminism and other stuff like women going for chad only was recognized and talked about. I’m not discrediting what your saying though because you actually lived through it.
It actually started at 2012 with Tinder and Instagram
