Whoever wrote that completely missed the point of all the studies. The studies linked even said that the correlation between appearance and personality was weak, and just that it was correlated, not causated. The studies do not say “large and formidable physique causes aggressive personality” they say “large and formidable physique MAY be CORRELATED with aggressive personality”

Even with the most liberal interpretation of these studies, there is no causation found.

These studies also dont have anything to do with how people perceive personality based on looks, its just how your looks are objectively correlated with your personality.

All available evidence is clear that personality is not determined by your experiences/looks/external factors, except in extreme circumstances and even then to only small degrees. Its in your genes, like everything else.

This is just people misreading and misinterpreting studies. Maybe they didnt even read the damn studies and they just read a stupid bbc article about it
