I think that was the original definition of MGTOW, but the truth is that the demographics of men who call themselves MGTOW significantly overlap with the incel community. I think MGTOW is becoming synonymous with volcel/monk, even though the community is also full of incels who somehow believe that they had a choice.

Turd Flinging Monkey, a prominent MGTOW, practically admitted as much on one of his most recent podcasts where he literally admitted to being a volcel and a dollcel.

Yes and they also made the preparatory work for better ideas/concepts like the Black Pill. With the Red Pill the first work was done to remove/shatter the image of the woman as an innocent, little angel and the first blow against the cult of personality was made. In the end the Red Pill said that the world was fundamentally broken, but you can still improve it/make the best out of it.
