Im an adult and my father still doesn't let me have my room's key. It is because of something silly that happened few years ago. I really hate it when my brother comes to my room because he is a cunt and he does this to annoy me. He likes to annoy me for his own pleasure. He was always a cunt. Rarely a nice person. Anyways, few years ago we were middle of a fight. (We used to fight physically a lot and he was always the one who starts it) And i hate spending time like that so i wanted it to end and i went to my room. He tried to come inside and i push the door to make him stay outside. We applied too much force to the door handle (which belongs to my room's door) and it broke. It is still broken to this day. My dad was pretty angry that day and he took my key. This was 3-4 years ago i think, cant really remember. And i still don't have my room key. I am an adult with 0 privacy. I can't browse doujinshis on my nice large monitor. I have to use my phone for shit like this.

This might sound like a minor problem but no. Nothing has changed, my brother is a cunt and he gets pleasure from annoying me. Dude fuck he literally comes to my room for no fucking reason, just to mess with me. Whenever he gets bored from his shitty zoomer games, he comes to my room to mess with me because he is fucking bored.

My parents are not worse but not better either. They are fucking educated people yet they never knock the fucking door when they come to my room. Sometimes they come to give me fruits or snacks (im not forcing them to do this, so this is not some "manchild" shit.) and they never knock the fucking door. I was so surprised when a relative knocked my door before coming in. LOL we don't have that civil shit in our barbaric house.

I totally get that, my parents used to always let anyone who I knew inside without letting me know about it, could be doing homework or jacking off and with like a 5 second warning one of these stoners was inside my room. I don't think they want me to move out. My mum said stuff like "You need to get out of your room and start learning things about life.". That resulted with me cleaning my own room.
A few months later they started to force me to help them with other rooms when they clean them. They clean the house once a week.
They want me to help them more with house work (they work from home so they are with me 24/7) but it sucks hard tbh.
