1.51 + 1.51 = 3.02 Rounded up to 2 for each 1.51 and that would be 2 each then + with another to get 4.

2.49 + 2.49 = 4.98. Rounded down to 2 each 2.49 and that would be 2 each then + with another 2 to get 4.
