I think it should be. Most people can't take the idea seriously, but they should. Let's talk about why:

For starters, there are MANY benefits to this idea, and no downsides. Even for women.
-Far greater well being among everyone, especially among sexually disenfranchised men
-Less violence : shootings are FAR LESS likely to occur when the shooter isn't alone. That is to say, when he's got a qt state GF
-An end to female hypergamy : women are now forced into relationships with men of their own status/looks/etc.
-Suicide rates will decline with less lonely men out there
-No more abused prostitutes : women will not have to be sold out by shady pimps anymore, because there will be no more demand. Women that are beaten can just go to the government

Anyways, I think people see this idea as more of a meme, than an actual idea. There could be a number of reasons behind this, but I can't say why I exactly. What I can tell you though, is how it would work:

At a certain age, women are required to enter this service. Maybe when they get their driver's license, they have to sign up (the same way many men have to sign up for the draft when they get their licenses). The forms they complete include information about them, like their personal information, hobbies, height, weight, hair color, eye color, breast size, favorite TV shows, etc. This form will also include things like, "submissive/dominant, passive/aggressive, etc". They are then rated based on attractiveness by an AI machine, the results will be further reviewed by a human. Men that want to opt in for this program can choose to do so. They will be given the same form, and be rated by the same AI. They will then be given a GF based off compatibility. Women that already have a boyfriend are exempt from this process, as long as they can provide proof of a relationship.
Furthermore: Women that are found cheating on their BF are given harsh punishments. Life in prison, maybe. Men that are simply using the women, IE requesting multiple in a small length of time, are blacklisted from the service.

I'm more for Nathan Larson's version where the families are an individual entity and in that family the father decides where his daughter goes. I.E the father decides who the female marries to, and this can be at any age. The father, being the head of the household and the creator of the daughter, should also decide where she goes (as long as its monogamous, same race, heterosexual etc.)

It would be a cool idea. Like you get to request a girl of your type like brown hair, blue eyes, small waist size, big ass, etc. It should be that you can’t have sex with her until you marry her.
