Honestly Incels have existed and been persecuted from the dawn of human society but nobody actually cares about us so we don't get a pity party like the Jews do despite suffering for a much longer period of time.

Here here. The processing power should be cheaper too. With VR you need enough graphics to drive two retina displays, plus if you want to be able to interact you have all these touch accessories and contraptions. With robotics, just remove the fancy displays and place the audiovisual processing into an external local server (instead of onboard), and a mere arduino class microcontroller that doesn't require active cooling will be sufficient enough for a robot. In other words, offboard the AI.

More than sex, what men need is companionship. A full size sex robot going through her idle animations in the corner of your bedroom will sufficiently trick your mind that you do have that companionship, no headsets necessary.

But I am fully open to a range of solutions in the future, whether it's Robotics (Full Reality), Augmented Reality (rendered images embedded into the live action scene), Augmented Virtuality (Live action images embedded into the rendered scene), and Full Virtuality.

My setup would be someting like this:
1) Robotic doll will be main interactive component that is interfaced with.
2) AI is handled either via offsite supercluster platform and/or local "superbox" (essentially a specialized desktop PC specifically designed to run an advanced AI). A normal PC can work too, but performance would be degraded. By allowing a supercomputer to run the AI, you get a much better end user experience. Imagine a learning machine that is recieving simultaneous imputs from thousands or even millions of men.
3) Augmented reality to simulate advanced facial micro expressions that can't adequately be simulated via robotics. A crude version of this can be done via sexdolls and apps like FaceApp, which can change expressions. Just need to hook it up to something lightweight like Google Glass.
4) Some kind of mobile interface that allows the AI to "travel" with you. Think of the movie "Her" or a very advanced Replika. I can text a picture of flowers or send a video of a foregin place to her and she'll recognize that and appreciate it.

The fact that the robot is real, as opposed to pixels on a screen, should prove to be a more comprehensive solution to the loneliness problem. When she gets in bed with you, you can feel the bed depress and feel her body heat as you spoon her. VR can't provide this level of fidelity.
