Genetic dreadful atrocity

Because a lot of Protestant sects started imitating Jews and started seeing themselves as the "chosen" of God and the true seed of Abraham so they ended up believing Jesus must have been like them.
That's also the fault of the Renaissance, of humanism and the "cult" of the human form. In the middle ages, you weren't allowed to draw Jesus realistically. Icons followed certain rules that kept the depiction vague on purpose, because icons were pointing to a more "abstract" and spiritual understanding of what Christ was as opposed to the humanistic, "earthly" depictions that started to appear after the Renaissance.Always found it baffling how they always portrait Jesus like this mega Chad with an untrained 12 pack. Halo effect is real.
