Because they don't get the definition. They twist it to how they feel it is not what it is. This is how all normal people operate, feelings over facts. It's why they're such terrible people. They can't stand fairness because it hurts their feelings but use their feelings to justify being entitled or selfish and only use the facts when it helps them not hurts them (they're better but are not good people), because they are dishonest arguers.
