I am in my mid 20s and aside from having a shit wageslave job I am no different from a 15 year old boy at all. Just fucking lol. No life experience, no relationships, no fucking idea how to do any type of handiwork or ability to fix anything, general knowledge is pathetic. I think the fact that having the internet at fingertips reach means you never really have to learn anything, so as a result you barely know a thing. I can't give advice on anything because I've had next to no life experiences to base it off lmao. Maybe it's just me, but I have no skills at all.

Tbh I'm not even really complaining, but I do find it funny how the government expects great things from us or us to be able to be content with working 9-5 jobs 40 hours a week. Sure maybe you might've been able to sell that 60 years ago when there was barely anything fun to do anyway, and when wages actually paid well, but nowadays when you can go online and read absolutely masses on literally any topic you want, or play games, or whatever, the prospect of wageslavery for garbage wages rightfully invokes an "are you fucking serious?" response.

The problem with wage slaving now is that is is much more difficult to do because there is so much entertainment you could have at home whereas 30 years ago people needed to work to be able to find entertainment. In my country 30 years ago there were only 3 channels on the TV. What else would you do with your days back then. That is why I don't think it is fair when someone compares my father's work ethic to mine, my father had nothing else to do other than work in the 1980s when he was my age whereas I have a world of entertainment at my finger tips.

Totally what happens to me as well. At least I know how to cook a few things, clean my house, assemble Ikea furniture (playing Lego was useful after all) and solve some simple administrative/bureaucratic issues. But that's about it. If something breaks, I can't fix it, ad many other shit I can't think of right now.

Truly. It took me a couple of hours to learn how to do my desk job, and that's the way it is for most professions. Literally just need to be able to use the internet + have an IQ over 70 and you're set. It's hard for me to be a wageslave, I hardly ever do the actual 40 hours a week that I'm supposed to due to a lack of motivation. But, it's nice to be able to earn my own money and have my own place since I was essentially kicked out of my family home.

I still feel like a child mentally, though. My co-workers, who are all in their 30's, 40's, 50's+, talk about all of the stuff that they do with their families and all of these responsibilities that I can't even relate to. I'm ashamed to even talk about myself - my apartment is a huge mess with bottles and crap strewn all over the place, with "social" furniture like couches, tables, chairs, and paintings/pictures on the wall totally absent.

I don't really give a fuck, though - it's not like I'm going to let anyone in here anyway. Literally nobody cares if I decide to be a manchild for the rest of my life. Just as long as I can lie to my coworkers or avoid the subject.
