At least she is honest. My brother had some head surgery as a newborn, he found that in his medical file, but mom stole it from him and she is refusing to give it back. She is lying now that he had no surgery and he is healthy. This is serious shit and probably illegal thing to do. My brother is not sure what exactly that surgery was, but it might be important for him in the future in case he gets some health problems.

Anyway - are you so sure they don't work? How much research have you done on it? I've done a lot, and the reason they don't work is because of the insane time investment it generally requires, the difficulty and inconsistency in technique, and the discomfort from using them.
But the newest devices are a lot better than the crap that was out in the 80's, and the one I mentioned has some preliminary scientific studies showing positive results. The only problem is as I mentioned, the huge time investment required.
