I don't know about others, but from my personal experience, NoFap does work for me. While it can't fix my height, dick size and face, but it does help me mentally. When I'm on streaks I do generally feel happier. Have a better memory, better reflexes, no brain fog and headache. Can actually get things done. It also does seem to help with energy levels whenever I am gym ceiling. While it isn't a cure for everything. It does make things a little more bearable for me.

I can confirm this. When I am hitting the gym while on no fap my guts feel better and more powerful. It feels like I can grab the energy within it. Most likely I consume some supplements before the training as well like carnitine. After the training I consume some arginine because the blood sugar level is pretty much down. So, it will produce even more growth hormones.
 
it didn't work so great for me, mostly anger and dissatisfaction went up and little else.
and after a week there were significant benefits to stopping it and getting off, like immediate mood enhancement where i couldn't help laughing and feeling relieved.

you need minerals to produce absolutely all your hormones, be it testosterone, GH, t3 and t4, and thousands of others. you also need minerals to make your insulin work right, and to renew your cells. run out of minerals and your body will start to work very badly.

2 - you will use increasingly heavy drugs;
3 - you will look for ever more exciting electronic games, or will spend more and more hours in the game;

and since other activities release less dopamine than sex, drugs and electronic games, the tendency is for all other things to lose their meaning as they do not give you any more pleasure. in other words, your life will revolve more and more around your addiction.

by giving up the addiction, whatever it is, the resistance of the brain to dopamine is getting smaller and smaller. means that after a while, a simple tea or a simple walk will cause you enormous pleasure, and even talking some nonsense on the street with a stranger will be enough to make you feel very good.

it's very strange but while the anger could make me hit someone or go harder at pushups or weights, it didn't help my social skill or anxiety, which is my biggest problem by far (i was always fit and not fat)
 
How long did you last? It wasn't until about 2 months in that I noticed the big boost in lowered inhibition. From say day 7 to day 30 there wasn't that much of a difference.

From around day 7 to within the 40s there's not much of a noticeable difference to any "benefits." But around 2 month mark I noticed a lot of difference. So I'd definitely recommend trying 90 days of nofap and noporn and if it's shit you weren't really out anything anyway. Most of the people that bash it can't get past 2 weeks, the ones that claim longer thought they were going to become sex gods by it alone.
sounds intriguing. i'm going to try it again but i'll need to come up with some tricks and discipline to prevent getting really aroused, otherwise it's just way too hard and even uncomfortable.

i have way too much energy then, because i'm working a job, have a demanding hobby, lift and walk long distances to work... none of that shit works to cut out my libido, not even close.

I have a lot of libido as well, or am just addicted to jacking off to porn. The seemingly uncontrollable urges lessen and don't hit as often but are still there. By business I mean more of a self-employed, freelance type of thing where you put all of your focus and energy into it. I don't know what kind of work you do but I used to do boring and labor intensive work that just made me want to jack off as soon as I got home.
I've done both simultaneously, it still didn't work. The only thing that can kill my libido is being at the most extreme low end of a depression cycle, when your body is basically shutting down

I'm glad it works for you. On some streaks I have the same experience. The bad memory, brain fog, etc. is mainly caused by porn consumption and edging though. If you can't quit both porn and masturbation - just quit porn. You will get the biggest results.

Curretnly nothing specific. I do take some zinc in combination with other stuff like magnesium or potassium. I also consume vitamin D3.

But a lot of the anti nofappers in these threads cannot even last for just a few days, they have a problem. Guys that have been fapping at least daily for years need a reset. That's why 90 days is recommended, some need longer.

One good example is Cody Lanes "Blue Room" scene in HD (without the weird scary music in the background). I can't find any HD download for that, all the torrents for it are dead and unseeded, all the streams for it are 360p. Streaming is just not safe, vids get taken down all the time.

It's the constant need for novelty. When I kept a stash I still was searching for porn every time and saving a lot of it for later + bookmarking pages.

That's because you have very few "categories" you are into, get into enough stuff, and download enough videos and at a point you stop downloading, in fact you start deleting stuff that was "kinda good" because you start to narrow down what you really like, also don't watch multiple videos, make sure to "finish" videos, if today you fap to a vid and only last 15 mins in, the next day you fap after than 15 min point and so on and so forth till the video is finished, then you go on to a next one, the reason why you guys catch yourself in that cycle of always chasing new content is because you burn it all out, you let your brain blur all the lines of your porn categories, also don't jump from category to category, watch a specific category till you are bored of it, then fap to another one.

Right now I'm on JAV's, when I'm tired of that, maybe by next month, I'll go back and fap to ebony, then hentai, then etc. Don't mix and match, get bored of one and move on to the next, and then go back to it afterwards, its like recycling lol.
 
Does anyone here have some advice for me? I once went on a 1 month long nofap streak and I felt so fuckin good, but I fell back into the habit of jerking off to porn. I remind myself every morning not to do it, but it's like in the afternoon my brain shuts down and I open up a porn tab out of muscle memory. What's the solution here? Mornings and nights, my brain is filled with the memories of when I didn't masturbate, and I tell myself not to do it, but then for some dumb fuck reason all logic goes out the window the instant it hits 1:00 PM.
