Before corona happened, I was a regular visitor of upscale hotel bars. I like these bars because, unlike other bars or clubs, they weren't oppressively social -- they aren't as crowded, they're nowhere near as loud, the service is far more attentive, and you don't have to deal with a gorilla-like bouncer who gruffly asks for your ID. In fact, I never got ID'd at hotel bars, even when I was just 18.
Yeah, the prices might be a bit inflated -- but the value proposition is incredible if you are a subhuman introvert who happens to value your sanity. I would rather not end up in a situation where I have to yell loudly and flail my arms in a crowded and dimly lit room with a sticky floor just to get a goddamned drink. I have no fucking idea why that is a normie's idea of a good night out; I'd rather spend a night at Gitmo.
I usually show up alone, order a drink, pull out my tablet and chill on this forum or catch up on some reading. Sometimes, before meeting an escort, I'd show up at one of these bars for a drink beforehand, to relax myself.
Once or twice, though, I'd bring a normie acquaintance along, and as usual, I like to try something new. See, if I'm a huge fan of a particular establishment, I try to work through the entirety of its cocktail menu; I'm not picky and I generally enjoy everything. And if a drink I pick happens to be colourful and fruity, occasionally a normie will say something along the lines of, "I didn't expect you to pick that".
