You heard of super gonorrhoea? It is resistant to all but 1 antibiotic and that is a powerful IV one meaning they can't just give you some tablets to clear it out. If you catch it getting rid of it will be very difficult.

Yeah but you don't really hear about it becoming an epidemic, it probably has visible symptoms that appear before it has a chance to spread. It's just not going to wipe out a big portion of sex-havers the way AIDS did.
