Celts got absolutely history-mogged by Latin and Germanic people. Southern and Western Germany used to be full of Celts. Now is full of Germans. Gaul is now France thanks to the invading Franks. Seriously sad that the smartphone era hasn't spurred widespread improvement of poor areas. There's no reason curries couldn't use the internet they search bobs and vagene on to find out how to manage waste. There's no reason poor areas around the world couldn't make their local environment better than it currently is. The reason they don't is because they have no direction and the 'Tragedy of the Commons' problem of lacking financial ties to their living area. Really shows a culture of independent private ownership AND a strong patriarchy often manifested as a religious organization or government are needed for people to advance.
