So I just thought of this but, what if your looks determined your gameplay in mount & blade?? Imagine, you would get rejected by all the ladies of the land and not be called upon to serve by your king or even be allowed to rule over anyone due to your facial deformities.

That would be very fucking hard to do if the looks were on some kind of gradient scale/spectrum. If there were specific looks to choose from, then that would definitely be possible.
