I used to think it was good for showing how most people think especially women and being able to expose fake news and spin and calling out people in power on their lies. But the fake news and spin is happening anyway because most people are apathetic and dismissive and meme about corruption while doing nothing. And women airing what their really think on social media is getting out of hand and resulting in women getting so bold as to basically issue proclamations to cancel any male they don't like.
And imo yeah SJWs derive most of their power from social media like twitter, reddit and tumblr.
Above anything else though for incels, social media has made the requirement to network and always update your life for others to judge the standard. That's what I dislike the most about social media. It only enables more competition and raises the stakes while fostering an image obsessed way of life.

It would lessen women's ability to get people "canceled", stop the rise of professions like social media influencers, slow down rapid cultural change to more manageable levels, make the internet more exclusive to nerdy introverted people again and probably cut down on political polarization.
But I also feel that things got really bad when women could regularly access the internet from their phone with all these social media apps so that any help, thought, picture and more they wanted to share with the world was only a few taps away. At that point women began realizing how easily replaceable other people are to them and their ability to influence social trends in their favor and to a mass audience around the world.
Before that women weren't really interested in communication mediums like the internet.
If you notice a lot of women exclusively insist on using their phone to access the internet.
