It is socially acceptable to be "depressed". To be on medication. To seek therapy. People will argue relentlessly that they are powerless to depression, that they can't simply just be happy. They talk about things they hate being told such as:

-There are people who have it worse than you!
-Happiness is a choice!
-You need to get out more!

Yet for some reason, these same NPCs will turn around and attack us for something we have no control over either. They attack us in the same way they used to attack depressed people because it hasn't been normalized. They give out similar meme advice:
