Right-wingers often use imagery which includes duck tape over their mouths to represent their censorship, and while this may usually be benign protest, it does not escape my insight that the terms "censor" and "censure" carry implications of punishment, and that masochistic types derive gratification from punishment, and that, similarly, histrionics act outrageously precisely in order to bathe in the ensuant outrage.

So it is true that at least with some of them, they are pleasured by their censorship inasmuch as they protest it. An example would be the Jewish Zionist, Laura Loomer.

You bring up a good point, though, that alt-right ideology as a whole resembles fallen narcissism, or an ideal of power belied by the reality of weakness. The alt-right is not alone in this, however, and at one point this description could have fitted Zionism.
