I see a lot of threads here that say if U r high tier Normie in looks, but have status then U can go up a point or 2. However what is status for non celebs? And I don't mean in a small town being a jock or whatever, I mean in a digital world and increasingly globalised world, where we are all flying around all over doing random shit and living digital lives, what is 'status'?

- Popularity gives you status (how many people know you, how many followers you have on social media etc)

- Money will give you status. The more you make the more status you get.

- The type of job you have will give you status. Being a fireman gives more status then being a plumber, though they both pay the same

Probably having like 100k followers on social media platforms. And money, if you can fake it you can make yourself seem "Important".

Staus is either wealth or fame.

So... million dollar plus bank account

Or b+ celebrity

In a street-shitting parlance, those who can do stand-shitting (दण्डायमान-मलत्यागासन Dandayamana-Maltyagasana) are considered as high-status/class.

Which actually means you can achieve status by doing something that small number of people can do.

Popularity amongst the common man.

status is legit. I think danny devito has a girl.

2019? you can get really high status by saving a foid dog from drowning or virtue signaling like crawling the last 50 meters of a nationally televised marathon, or spew some nonsense about jumping in freezing water to save the whale.

Status is when a lot of people know you personally. Status is when a lot of people talk about you, preferably in a positive way.
Status is when you're famous. You can also be famous for murdering and have status.
Power is status. If you're in a powerful or influential position (CEO, president, boss, politician) you have status.

So if you're a boss, but not like a CEO, then surely you only have status amongst your own small corporate section? Is it possible to transfer this to wider appeal?

This is quite an accurate summation, save for a few who are born into high status already because of their family' wealth and power , or being extremely good looking, everyone else have to develop certain skill-set in an area to command people attention and time/money.
  1. develop a skill-set and talents that is universally admired and enjoyed, a few examples, being a fireman, singer, cooking, teachers( , real estate, other skills that people want to learn etc...)
  2. develop a skill set that is universally feared and possibly abhorred, combat sports/killing/ examples, boxing, , martial arts/mma,special forces soldiers, assassins, serial killers .
  3. a position of power over many people 'liberty" and their money, politicians, crime boss, business owners, dictators, military high ranking officers,religious/cult leaders ,
skill-set would include lying, motivational speaking, leadership, brainwashing people etc, some of the skill set in number 2
