Possibly, they weren't approached by thousands of guys as holes are today both in real life and on internet in particular, making them less choosy than today's holes and were also less slutty because of social pressures.

Because the beauty feedback loop didn't have enough technological innovation to fully manifest itself. If we had it our way women would have unpragmatic breast sizes and hips so big they can't even walk. Same for us and our jaws muscles and chests
