Its not even that, its way more pathetic, people just don't want to be reminded that improvement is possible or even an option, because then that ruins the enjoyment of their martyr complex
They seriously aren't even thinking about others to even bother contemplating "keeping others down with them"
They literally just don't want you to burst their bubble, so they can continue doing nothing and pat themselves on the back for "struggling"
The large majority of incels on this forum have a martyr complex, and anything that threatens that makes their psyche lash out at it
They don't want to hear about any alternative means to build wealth, become successful, get sex, etc, they just want to be without those things so they can keep feeling bad for not having those things, and thereby now congratulate themselves for "enduring"
You see for these individuals their only accomplishment is that they have "survived" inceldom and that they "endure its trials"
To later succeed in life for them is a consolation prize, they'd much rather keep seeing themselves in their current light
THEN there are the nth level retards who are in a category all on their own, who I'd classify as "man children", who are really just immature and don't want to face reality, so its not even that they have a matyr complex, they are legit just that stupid, common sense and logic will always be out of their reach, they are perpetual idiots who
NEVER CHANGE and
NEVER ADAPT and that's out of choice, childishly holding onto pointless ideals
I only know of two examples

Both delusion 50+ year old virgins, who in every conversation speak as if they don't exist in your reality, literally nothing can be explained to them, no matter how hard you try, because they don't care what you have to say, they only care about their ideals, and they clung to those ideals so strongly that they are virgins into their 50's and will likely die virgins
One has multiple sex dolls and speaks about them as if they are persons, the other is still chasing some dream of fucking college girls at some frat party, even asking redditors how he'd get invited to such parties
I half think both of them are trolls (and there's a 25% chance they are the same person on that note), because they are that dense, they are that deluded, every conversation with them is frustrating and feels like you are speaking to someone who is mentally ill, you may actually lose brain cells speaking to them, beware
I have never seen levels of delusion so strong other than these two individuals on this site
