Well, it's that rather that trans women are attracted to women (not men), a lot of them also claim to be "lesbians" or "transbians."
A lot of them became transgender because of some lesbian fantasy they have or want to live up to. Liking the lesbian or yuri stuff will make you end up in that sort of spot.
There's a misconception here that trans women are attracted to men. A majority of them aren't attracted to men (they're more attracted to women because they still have a male mind), they're more focused on wanting to get with women, and they do outcries of "transphobia" of women not wanting to date them. Even some of them successfully managed or peer pressure women into becoming their gfs, wives, or sex partners. A lot of women hate it. There's even growing movement among butch lesbians and radical feminists that wants to exclude trans women from their spaces. These sorts of people are usually called "TERFs" an ancronym for "trans exculsionary radical feminists." Yeah it's a bit of a fuck show or quite a mess (that you would have thought that they'd be natural allies, but they're really not). Also, because rather it's funny because women and trans rights are at a contradiction with each other (which we see in media, sports, and bathrooms). Neither of them want to compromise their own rights for the other. They're pulling a tight rope... one wants the other's rights to come at an expense of the other or be compromise the other to feed more into their own. There's already a civil war amongst each other in their own political circles or bubbles.
