In that twitter thread, re incels he says " I think that, *probably*, intrasexual competition is not the big driver, and so the case for more social and especially legal regulation to limit access to attractive males on the mating market is not (yet) justified. "
Some of you incels might wince at this -- but look at the wording..."probably"..."is not the big driver." Um, I read this to mean he thinks there's a good chance it's a primary factor (perhaps among several) but isn't willing to be so controversial as to say it directly...yet. But he heavily implies it.
