I want to play FFXIV but tbh it's too expensive and I know I'll probably end up regretting paying the money, like with most MMOs I've played. Even though I'm flush with cash atm, got like $100 left to spend on whatever I want.

Very true. It seems the friends part is an absolute truth and it's why I seem to not understand MMOs anymore. I just can't enjoy them cause they're all meant for groups.
