No foid will ever love us enough to clean our anus of feces. At best as an old man you might pay some nurse to do it, but she would probably do it roughly with no love and rip your skin open and give you e-coli infections.

Warm water via tech is superior to any manual care a foid could give us.

Foids do have value in making cute 80s commercials promoting this technology though.

It's not an either/or situation, they still use TP in Japan to pat the area dry of leftover water.

Water probably won't remove 100% of the feces either (though I bet it removes more than TP alone) but the vast majority will be gone (trauma-free to our skin) so you'd use much less TP following the bidet.
