I watched both and they're great action movies with some social commentary too. I like the scenes at the woke uni campuses with students criticizing police brutality and the black guy who wants to become a police officer and knows the reality of the favela tells them they don't know shit. Also the second film with all the plot of corruption and bribery in Brazilian society. Of course I didn't get all the nuances, slang and commentary because I'm not Brazilian but still two very recommended films.
