While this is unfortunately true for our time, maybe there will be a day, where this world will have a place for you and for me.
 
western orientalist scholars or white folks that have lived in china or thailand for a long time make me nervous as a ricecel.

Chinese philosophy strikes me as boiling down to a series of pathetically passive copes. It revolves around concepts of powerlessness against external forces, and seems more like "pithy" little wisdoms than any striking meaningfulness
