That idiot quoted from reddit says the studies done on autistic people showing poor relationship results were done on those institutionalized before I was born. But that idiot is factually wrong, as I'm from the age group that came after the institutionalization stopped, and the vast majority of the adults in those studies are my fucking age.

Not only that, he goes on to presume that we're all self-diagnosed. I can't speak for anyone else here, but I was professionally diagnosed at the age of 10, and I don't know how many times I can tell idiots like this: I'm not posting my medical records online to prove it. I'm autistic, not retarded.
