The bronze age collapse was a period between 1200 and 1150 BCE which saw the collapse of many Mediterranean and near eastern civilizations. Scholars have theorized that a group known as the "Sea Peoples" played a large role in the collapse.

Could the Sea Peoples actually be incel refugees headed to SEA, leaving their homes behind and letting them fall into disrepair? They likely would not have survived the journey to SEA and an even smaller number would have been able to return, leading to the population and civilization decline of the bronze age collapse.

There is frustratingly little to work with. The wikipedia page or this thread are good starting points (but, of course, take them with a grain of salt). Everywhere you look there will be the same answer: we don't know who the Sea Peoples were and we don't know exactly what cause the BAC.

Theories range from a breakdown of trade relations to environmental disaster or neighboring tribes going berserk all at the same time. The only thing we think we know for sure is that it all culminated in the collapse of nearly the entire Mediterranean and near Eastern world.
