Humans are all inherently bad yes

There are good people out there
Almost as if they are from a fantasy world, but they are very rare.
There isn't much incentive to being selfless or nice others in this reality.

Some of the answers here have covered it well, but I want to add that selfishness isn't inherently a negative. It only becomes a negative when the cost to others is greater than the gain to yourself. For example, deca billionaire tycoon laying off 10k employees to save some money in the long run according to his financial analysts because a new technology was made available to replace the 10k workers, won't possibly benefit his life nearly enough to a noticeable degree (like extend his life for a few centuries or whatever) compared to the collective harm and suffering brought to the lives of his former employees. Imagine all of the bills they can't pay, all of the families torn apart, all of the suicides, all of the foreclosures on their homes. All of that human suffering, and for what? So you could save a few hundreds of millions you don't even need that you won't ever use to help humanity?

Only incels and babies are the only people that are not bad

I find it very interesting that for all of man's creations of entertainment like movies, games, books, etc, these types of entertainment all have worlds that boast better morality, laws, people, and etiquette than our current one.

It really begs the question as to why the world is the way It is. We literally have people who would rather lie to themselves instead of actually doing something about it.

For example, in these stories-

you'll see friendships with bonds that are so close they are willing to die for each other.

Women who are sentinet and actually give a shit about anything but themselves.

People who have no problem pointing out how wrong they are.

A society where laws apply equally to both sexes, races, etc.

If humans are capable of creating these fantasy worlds in their head, then why is the world we currently live in shit?

Is it ignorance? Lack of profit? A lack of desire to create a world that everyone can enjoy? Or is a morally just world impossible for humans due to their nature.
Humanity is a doomed, worthless, self-destructive species. I hope gorillas can do a better job after we nuke/virus ourselves off the earth.

I agree with your last--that a "morally just world" is impossible due to the nature of humanity. Putting aside questions of what "just" means or whether there are any universal morals, even when we agree on what's right, so many of us are willing to do what's wrong--and then justify it after the fact--because what matters more to us than "right" is feeling good. Not every time. And not everyone. But often enough that a just society isn't likely. Just look at the way our legal system "works." Or the international statistics on corruption. Or the relentless drive towards wealth inequality and the great threat it poses to "democracy."

Humans don't want equality or justice. Most of us want to be better than others and to get more than others. And a lot of us enjoy causing or watching others suffer. We don't want a "morally just world."

You're asking deep and profound questions about the nature of the human condition (for a great ape).

The creators of these fantastical worlds often have an ideal they would wish for the world they live in. That's why we have such tropes as "true love" and "the hero always wins against evil."

not bad, not good

however capable of both bad and good acts
