It's dumb.
i hate gambling i spent this year so much on it and gained nothing but you have to learn it the hard way 
Tbh in the past I've mostly done this at casinos and would sometimes make enough drink money for me to then stop. I liked the simplicity of it and how my only motivation was to make enough for a few more rounds of drinks. But sometimes I ended up going full tilt so it can be a risky business.

It sounds dumb. The only smart way to gamble would be to learn how to count cards, if you're good at math (If they're using multiple shoes, you'd pretty much have to be good at math), and even that's kinda dumb because you could get caught.

You don't need to be good at math to count cards. You just need a good working memory.
It's harder since most casinos use multiple card decks in order to be harder for the players.
Blackjack is statistically the best game to win something.
Slots are better
To lose money yes.
The best way to win something is to place a bet or play 5 bucks for fun at a slot machine and then leave.
The problem is once you enter in a casino your ape brain can't stop and you will remain there to get back the money you lost which you will never get back btw.
Never play in a casino kids.
You can find ways to win at slots just pick which it is when it’s about to hit
