sounds like Norbert Masur who interviewed him in April 1945 did not believe his explanations
but it sounds plausible to me - Himmler was trying to educate Jewish refugees
they were a filthy and sickly people though so regrettably many died
Himmler tried to save the survivors from disease by incinerating corpses to stop the spread of disease
