I strongly recommend you to watch The Human Centipede 1&2

Freddy Krueger, Jason Vorheese, Michael Myers or any other slashers where roasties and teenage sluts get fucked up.

Too many to list. Mostly the grindhouse stuff of the 1970s before everything became politically correct. “God Told Me To”, “Beyond the Darkness”, “The Redeemer”

The original texas chainsaw massacre from 1974, leatherface is my idol.

Shame the bitch gets to live in the end though, at least she was tortured.

saw 1 is my all time favorite, if that counts as horror. Otherwise Halloween 1

Mine is Tetsuo the Iron Man, it's not super well know over here. It's from Japan, released in 1989.
A metal fetishist goes crazy when he sees maggots wriggling in one of his self inflicted wounds, and runs onto the street, where someone hits him in their car by accident, after which he comes back, sort of, as a strange force able to control metal, torturing the man who killed him.
It's only about an hour long, and it's a non stop, intense nightmare for the entire run time. Disturbing, disorienting, horrible visuals, and grating and abrasive sound design, I love it, it's a real trip, check it out.

I have seen these two, wouldn't call them horror though. Exploitation movies.

Saw is definitely horror.

Shame the bitch gets to live in the end though, at least she was tortured.

Fun fact: when the bitch gets her finger cut during the table scene, the actor who plays Leatherface used an actual scalpel because he was getting bored and wanted a genuine reaction.

Insidious

Insidious is a great horror movie. Insidious and Insidious 3 are my favorites. I wasn't a fan of the sequel and I haven't seen The Last Key yet.
Freddy Krueger, Jason Vorheese, Michael Myers or any other slashers where roasties and teenage sluts get fucked up.

Halloween was my first horror movie. But I don't really watch slashers anymore.

Cuck. XX must have been movie of the year for you.

Cope, I have the best taste in horror.

Sounds lame TBH. Never heard of any of these titles though.

Hollywood horror movies are mostly bs. I like those japanese ones, like grudge, ring etc. There was one australian movie called "lake mungo", I liked that very much.

Don't like horror since they are just jump scares. Hard to find anything good.

I like the Evil Dead movies.

Probably has to be The Thing from 1982. Don't know if it counts since its sci-fi but I guess the gore makes it a horror film. I always liked the concept and the gore just made it even better. Horror movies with pratical effects are my favorite, such as Dead Alive, Hellraiser and The Fly.

Why they're boring.

Why they're boring.
For me is how the villain character doesn't go for the kill right away, he makes them suffer in a very original and amusing way besides it's truly pleasing to watch the despair the normies go through.

Ehh im pretty sure you can find better torture porn films than those. Although the original was alright cause of the originality of the idea but since it has been memed so much it just can't be taken seriously. Also it has nothing really going for it aside from the shock value it offers from the initial sight and thought of being sewn up to a butthole. But oh well to each their own.

I saw noroi and thought it was pretty good.

>human centipede
>horror
that's some disgusting gore shit, the only horror movies I liked are thai version of the shutter and first conjouring. And silent hill, but only because I love the game there wasn't anything scary there.

boring is subjective:think:

and yeah pretty much i also liked the normies suffering immensely swallowing each others excrement

The Wrong Turn series is really good: incels( cannibals) always win in the end and I laugh when women get killed.

Try it; it’s not bad at all.
I will.

You have the best taste in here. Lake Mungo is one of the few western horror movies that have actually creeped me out. You might like Last Shift.

I will.

Hollywood horror movies are mostly comedy movies. Horror movies are extremely difficult to make, if you make one tiny mistake it becomes a comedy movie. I will watch Last Shift.

Yeah its subjective but I mean there isn't much going on in that film. Its just the initial shock you get from the thought of that situation. If you are into torture porn films I'm pretty sure there are better ones than that since Human Centipede is pretty mainstream. But yeah nothing wrong with liking it I guess just surprised since its such a parodied and memed film.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that American horror movies are comedy movies, considering there's a lack of comic relief. And there's also pretty good horror movies they sometimes put out like The Conjuring, Insidious, Sinister, etc. But I see your point, and I agree. American horror movies fail to do its job mostly. They are also catered to teenagers, so there won't be an R-rating, which will have some kind of impact. But every now and then, you get an amazing PG-13 horror movie, such as The Ring. But that's a remake of a Japanese horror movie, so I'm not sure if I should lump it into the category of American horror movies. Also, have you heard? They're doing another The Grudge reboot, which is set to be released in October 2019. They started shooting in May. I am honestly very excited. Downside is that Takashi Shimizu won't be involved. There were rumors that they were going to abandon the Saeki family storyline, but since then I've heard contrasting reports, I guess we will find out. Let me know what you think of Last Shift!

I liked conjuring 1 (not 3 or 2) and sinister though. But I don't get that creepy vibes that those early japanese movies used to give. I have heard about the Grudge reboot, but I am not very excited because it's not from Takeshi Shimizu, also the grudge/ring like plot and style is overused. The concept of "horror" is perceived differently in the west from the east. For example, Hollywood makes a lot of zombie movies, but you won't find such movie from japan/korea. I don't like zombie movies because the idea of zombie itself is hilarious as fuck and I don't like gore/body-horrors because I don't find them creepy, rather they are gross. I watched so many horror movies but don't know why I missed the last shift.

The Conjuring 3 isn't out yet haha. You didn't like Insidious then? Yeah, those movies can't creep me out either, but they're at least suspenseful and original, especially Insidious and Sinister. I get why you feel that way about the style/plot being overused, but I don't mind the same type of movies, long black-haired vengeful ghosts are always creepier than a masked killer to me. I do not like zombie movies either. I watched 28 Days Later last year but I never finished it, still haven't to this day. I also don't like torture porn and body horror, they are just gross but they do not gross me out. I think it's just lazy filmmaking. I have seen a couple of torture porn and exploitation movies but like I said, they don't affect me at all. Martyrs (you might like that one though!), the I Spit on Your Grave series, the original practically has a 40 minute long rape scene.... A Serbian Film, The Human Centipede 1 & 2, etc. They don't do anything for me and I have watched them but I will avoid those type of movies from now on. A gory movie that I actually do like is A l'interieur, a 2007 French horror movie. Along with Martyrs, despite Martyrs being French-Canadian instead of actually French, they are grouped into a genre called New French Extremity. When will you watch Last Shift?

Conjuring 1 & 2 were scary by my standards, but I'm not a huge watcher of horror films.

Going to watch Insidious tonight based on recommendations here. Hope I don't get nightmares boyos.

I saw martyrs, the story line was good, out of the box. In terms of gore, I liked hannibal movies very much (anthony hopkins), well they are not gore/body-horror per se, but still. If you really want to get good from both of the worlds (creep + gore) I would suggest this --

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three..._Extremes

Creepy as fuck. You should watch this.

Also these ones:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imprint_(Masters_of_Horror)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XX_(film)#The_Box

Not sure when I can watch the last shift, looks like won't be able to anything within next two weeks. Lots of other stuffs to do.

Most horror movies are about some femoids getting harassed by some old ugly incel.

I didn't know you had seen Martyrs. I liked the first half of the movie, and then it went downhill. That movie gets way too much love on plebbit, and I just dislike it, aside from the first half. The second half was just garbage in my opinion, it got pseudo-philosophical.. but the reality is that the director had no idea how to end the movie, so he ended it the way he did. Yet people have the audacity to call it a masterpiece! Just lol. I liked the Hannibal movies too, the series was great too, I can't believe they got away with airing that shit on national television. I have already watched Three... Extremes, as well as its "prequel" I liked Cut the most. Imprint is on my watchlist, and I completely disregarded XX because it's a feminist horror movie.. directed and written by feminists. And I understand, you're a busy guy, unlike me. I am a NEET, so I have plenty of time. I will ask you in two weeks' time. Also, since you watch Asian horror movies... South Koreans are really great at revenge movies, even though most of them aren't horror, but I still lump them in the same category. I Saw the Devil is a horror/thriller, people call it really violent but I think it's quite tame, so I don't see how people consider it to be torture porn. Have you seen it? It's not just my favorite horror movie, it's my favorite movie of all time. It's a very tense movie, and very lengthy as well. It is 2 hours and 21 minutes long, but worth every minute. There is even a US remake coming up. A Tale of Two Sisters is another classic South Korean horror movie which has also been remade.. as The Uninvited. Needless to say, the remake sucks in comparison, but it did have a nice plot twist, IMO.

Jacob's Ladder for anyone who hasn't seen it. On another note I'm looking for this British movie can't remember the name it was a horror movie that took place in the WW1 trenches. From what I remember the trench turned into some kind of purgatory. Any help?
