The horror in the game is very well done, will keep you scared and amazed as if you were playing a love letter to horror.

It's as if silent hill was a FPS horror but more disturbing and fucked up.

What I recommend is Condemned 2 for ps3, nice horror game who is an alcoholic and has hallucinations, you have to chase a serial killer and a lot of the stages are cool and long.

the 1 is for ps2 and 2 is for ps3, pick condemned 2 you will not regret it it's pretty fucked up also the protagonist may be a chad but he is doomed with alcoholism and there is a sect that wants to cause chaos to society through sound waves it's fucked up and interesting.

Game is monotonous. I had enough of that too dark atmosphere. Looks very good as for Half Life engine and lots of work was put into it, but something is off about it.

I recommend known Outlast and Whistleblower DLC. I love it

Outlast is really cool man, I like it a lot aswell. Outlast 2 was a good game but nowhere as scary as the first one and the dlc. Playing that shit felt like having a nightmare

Yeah Outlast 2 was kind of shit. I remember it correctly 'cause 5 years ago I played it (I now actually reminded myself it was 5 years ago... what the fuck) after I came back from colleague's 18th birthday. Was drunken af, went to sleep feeling like I was floating in space. When I have awaken at 2 pm I started playing it.

Quite good game, but completely off with plot from first game. It is still in same universe but you can lose quickly that feeling.


Also that fuckin whore with pickaxe looking out for you. Behaviour of a standard toilet.

Chris Walker was much scarier than the skinny dumpster. LIke, I don't feel intimidated by her at all. Tho I enjoyed the psychological horror aspect of it but it lacked that raw fear and desperation feeling of the first ones y'know?

Agreed, there are other, 'incel kino' games I'd recommend if you thoroughly enjoyed Cry of Fear:

- Condemned: Criminal Origins
- Condemned 2: Bloodshot
- Observer: System Redux
- SOMA
- Silent Hill 2 (of course)

Ultimately, though, I genuinely believe that Cry of Fear hits the nail right on the head when it comes to the themes you laid out and it's, unfortunately, unparalleled in that respect.
Moreover, I firmly believe it's the quintessential incel game whereby it perfectly encapsulates the feelings of anxiety, depression, loneliness, and general social isolation that comes with inceldom as no other game does.

Yes, the condemned series is amazing.
Though, the second one is, in my opinion, worse in several aspects in comparison to its predecessor and didn't necessarily complete/add-on to the vision of the first one. Overall, though, the second one has several, distinct memorable moments despite its shortcomings and being all over the fucking place in many regards.
Really, it's a shame that there isn't a fucking PC port for the second game. I mean, just recently, I've been replaying criminal origins and it's just as terrific as I remember it being.
Then, sadly, to think, that not only will not be able to replay the second one on PC; but, I'll never be able to see a third one is just... Depressing.
In spite of how much time has passed, there really is nothing like the condemned series, unfortunately.

I'm glad you can appreciate the condemned series, such an amazing game. I haven't played the first one but I will when I buy a good peripheral in order to play in my pc.
