1) Humans are mammals
As a result, both males and females behave according to the alpha-male instincts that they share with other mammals:
2) History
Humans used to behave as stated above until farming was invented, at the start of the Neolithic period, i.e. when they were hunter-gatherers ("cavemen")
At the agricultural revolution (10 000 years ago) monogamy was invented, for the purpose of inheriting land. The Neolithic Marriage that appeared at this time involves one woman pairing with one man for the purpose of working a farm and raising children who will inherit it. Within the monogamous Neolithic couple:
3) Historical marriage
The only real basis for marriage is what has been described above. NOTHING has changed since the Neolithic. A marriage requires:
As a result, both males and females behave according to the alpha-male instincts that they share with other mammals:
- Males fight for access to all females (only one alpha per group at a time)
- Females want to have sex with the alpha, to the exclusion of other males.

The Neolithic Marriage that appeared at this time involves one woman pairing with one man for the purpose of working a farm and raising children who will inherit it. Within the monogamous Neolithic couple:
- The man is the "alpha" of the micro-group consisting of the family.
- The Woman treats her husband as her personal alpha.
3) Historical marriage
The only real basis for marriage is what has been described above. NOTHING has changed since the Neolithic. A marriage requires:
- A man willing to play the alpha
- A woman ready to accept it
- An economic unit (farm, workshop, castle, ...) that both man and wife will work at to ensure their survival.
- When living in the context of the above arrangement, women can be productive. They are not parasites.
- If the marriage is not focused on the joint operation of an economic unit, it cannot work. Man and wife must work on the same economic process in order to understand and trust each other. If the man's economic activity starts to become opaque to the wife, she will stop trusting him.
- The role of "housewife" cannot work. The woman must work within her husband's economic activity for the marriage to be viable.
- Once the majority of the population becomes salaried workers, Neolithic marriage (which is the only kind that works) cannot exist. Therefore, the divorce rate will shoot up through the roof.
- "tradwifery" works only if the conditions of a Neolithic Marriage are met.
