It can be difficult, can't it?

Casinos spring to mind. And hotels. Also church. Oh, sleeper trains! They look fun.

Of course not all are sociable. Also it can be fun to visit new places especially if you stay somewhere sociable. I went to Malta solo once and met lots of people at the guesthouse I was staying at.

So yah erm, I thought this might make an interesting thread!

Funny you post this as I found a church I want to go to but have been hesitant to go because of shame and embarrassment of going alone. Is going to church alone not that bad? I imagine if they truly have the love of God in their hearts they will be welcoming to all, even an ugly male with no family.

I'm pretty sure church is OK.

After all the priority when you go is to worship God so whether someone else is with you or not isn't the thing people will be focusing on.

Just being there is enough to be doing something good.
