none now, more so in my youth

now life itself is scary

Master of Horror season 1 had some good ones

I was around 8 years old and this was horrifying.

I watched the Grudge when I was 12 and that traumatized me. Couldn't sleep for months. Now 16 years later im still afraid to watch it.

Mostly demon possessions, Valak was scary, Paranormal activity was scary when i watched it first time.
When i was a kid i watched this movie and i had nightmares for months.

The Hellraiser series gave me nightmares and worse as a kid. I don't think anything tops that in terms of traumatizing
The Ring series too. The movies were not scary all that much but I got nightmares that night.
Nowadays I only find them funny

I accidentally pressed the record button on the camera app of my smartphone.

This movie looks pretty interesting, what is it about
Umm bolsheviks executing "enemies of the state".
It was filmed post soviet union's collapse and im sure it is pretty biased in it's depictions.
Never the less: the movie is pretty graphic.

The autopsy of jane doe is pretty scary. It gets uninteresting in the second half.

The second half is just as scary for me personally. Plenty of jump scares that I can't handle.

the other side of the door was scary

Once you get to a certain age, fictional horror movies generally tend to not be that scary. Some of the movies about serial killers, mass murderers and such that are based on true stories are scarier, like what @Kamikaze posted.

The scariest shit to contemplate aren't even movies but documentaries on strange phenomena that are purported to have actually happened.

Take for example the Tsarichina incident or Skinwalker Ranch. These just use artistic renderings of actual images and footage, but will leave you chilled to the bone.

I hate them furries stealing my crops:feelswhat:
Mog me at being Chad werewolves werecat boys

None of them tbh, though all the ones I watched were enjoyable.

The Strangers. I saw it in the cinema when I was in 18 and I'd never seen anything like it before. I can so vividly remember the overwhelming feeling of dread and terror, sinking into my seat, feeling desperate to look away yet compelled to keep staring at the screen. Utterly horrifying.

My truecel life starring me

Also the game over scene from Resident Evil 5 where the infected niggers hack and batter you to death.

Final Destination. Not because it was a scary movie overall but the way characters died made me really paranoid when I was younger.

Threads 1984
Some soviet movie where a bunch of people get burned alive during ww2, forgot what it's called

other than those I'm pretty numb to horror, the mind gets used to it

I like the shining but didn't find it super scary, it was just cool
