She had false memories to hide her shame after Namor impregnated her.
She gave birth to Johnny Storm and her parents were ashamed and had her raise Johnny as her younger brother.
She has lied about her age - she is about the same age as Reed Richards, but when he was 12 the girl-next-door he grew up with cucked him w/ the Sub-Mariner
