That's the worst part tbh. The servers can shut down if the company closes the servers and decides to stop supporting the game. Then you're SOL with all of that sunk time and money.
At least with a traditional game purchase, you can play the game long after the company goes bankrupt.

It is very outdated in terms of mechanics compared to modern games. They are just dragging story on and on pointlessly. Yes if something is too old it can be bad. If I were to start a MMO I would rather play sth newer like TES Online with better graphics. Also LOL at calling me a fortnite zoomer because I am not obsessed at a 16yo game. No comment.
