had a interview today. i struggled with the questions and I DIDNT FUCKING KNEW JAVA SYNTAX WTF. i just kept asking them questions to appear "interested" and they probably wont hire me. this isnt so fair youre treating an autistic/adhd/depressed/ASPD/anxious man like that.

i hope my city gets a natural disaster

I used to be terrible at interviews due to my poor social skills and lack of experience. It’s a true incel trait

Fuck them all, they can fuck right off.

Java is dead language oof
yeah wtf they using that SHITTY ASS thingy when i was specialized in javascript/C#

not fair i didnt knew what a class extends was because i never touched that shit

syntax questions are shit, logic is the important thing tbh. most people forget how to read file and google it all the time.

yeah it's so fucking BS i can put together a big ass project by using google but its not fair because syntax is knowledge/experienece based

Chad or any female that don’t know any of that shit would get the job instantly :blackpill:

1. Did you actually do any coding interview practice?

2. Check out this thread: I made

It's basically a free coding course certification that even companies like google have hired people based on. I was surprised when I found this shit online.

If you look in the last section of the curriculum you will see "Coding Interview Prep":
freecodecamp2-png.525285

Check it out, it might help you.

3. Do you have a degree in the field?

4. What's the average pay for the job you applied to. I'm thinking about doing the above course and getting into coding, but I'm seeing a lot of sources saying that the field isn't as lucrative anymore and that everything will be replaced by AI soon.

Is it worth getting into right now?

Do you know people in the field making good money and they don't have qualifications (like they worked their way up the ladder and got hired based on their interview performance and portfolio.

Fuck being a chump change wagie

Need to memorize Java OO stuff they love asking that shit in interviews. Supposed to be fundamentals that you can use in other languages

fuck they talked exactly about this :(

I don’t know it either, I have to study maxx for gay interviews. I suck at explaining concepts and putting thoughts into words. Makes me rage so hard fuck

As a Professor in Blackpillosophy, I never failed in interviews. I slayed them all

I would consider you more of a retard than a ADHD coper. You forgot one thing and it’s common to happen to anyone.

dude i actually have adhd

Java is dead language oof
You are mad LMFAO

That’s the number one language you must learn to get into coding, over 98% of websites use that shit.

Being a master of Java , your potential for making money on the internet would be limitless

If someone were to get into coding , I would definitely point them to learn it first

You can look at something like "interview.io" and watch their free videos in their youtube channel.

Hi blkpillpres, I am interesting how much progress you achieved in your code learning journy and what stack you chose?

No company wants some ugly subhuman in their presence. They will employ anyone over some ugly dude. Stacy don't wanna feel uncomfortable around a socially stunded inkwell. Sucks bro. :fuk:

I haven't heard of that. I have always heard that Java is only being used for engineers maintaining old systems, various plug and play libraries and some old web applications like Runescape. Minecraft was written in it. But, I don't see it being used today in large scale like Python and C++ or c#. Most of the development I see is being done in c libraries etc. I have never seen a Java library and only used the language 2x for their big integer support but I also don't do a lot of web programming. Are they using Java backends to things like Reac/ NodeJS?

Nowhere lol, I haven't started yet, that's why I'm asking questions on whether it's worth it or not. I'm working on other things that require way less effort, and if they work out they'll give me way more money (passively too).

I'm hesitant to start because I'm hearing too much shit about coding:
1. Unless you have a degree you will struggle to get hired
2. The job is being phased out of existence by machine learning and AI (which is around the corner)
3. Companies often outsource their work to places like India where they can pay dirt cheap rates and get the same level of performance

With all that shit, I'm trying to find the positives to get into coding. I'm not going to start if it won't get a sufficient return on my investment.

I also don't do a lot of web programming. Are they using Java backends to things like Reac/ NodeJS?
Yep they do

Java is mainly done in web design, that is why it’s fuckin good to make money online

There are always people requesting web development, whether it be design or security.

Nigga shut up and go play Roblox or some shit

Yes. A decent base.

Theoretically it should be, given that Google Chrome appears to allow developers to generate themes using their API. Consult the following link: https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/themes

"I wanted to know if I can make one from scratch like you can change the website theme to 2007 or somewhat 2013" Well, you will need to learn JavaScript first. Afterwards, consult the official Google documentation for the Google Chrome API. If you encounter any issues, simply go to a website such as StackOverflow and describe said issues. That is one of the most efficient methods for acquiring this type of knowledge.

"its very hard to understand cause its not using an example related to my situation" Ah, my apologies for not explaining the usage thoroughly. Hopefully this will help you. String.format is a function that manipulates string data by formatting it according to the first argument provided. Here is an example: S = "1.123456789"; string.format("%.3f",S); print(S); --This would print "1.123"; Within the example that I provided, I have a string known as "1.123456789" The first argument within the string.format function, ".3f", will inform the interpreter that "S" has decimal values that need to be shortened to only the first three decimal numbers. "S", the second argument of the string.format function within the parentheses, is the actual string that needs to be modified accordingly. "f" refers to floating-point numerical data, which are decimal data values in C, the language that Lua is constructed from. If you wanted to determine which values should be omitted, you can simply use an expression such as "%.1f", which informs the interpreter that you would like to remove all decimal values after the first decimal number within the string. Hopefully this explanation assists you.

It would seem that I added an unnecessary quotation mark near the end of the script segment I provided you with. This would be the correct version: "script.Parent.Text = ""..string.format("%.2f",tostring(Kills/Deaths));" For further reference, it would likely be an excellent idea to discuss any necessary adjustments within a single thread. That will ensure that the discussion can remain progressively organized to efficiently assist you.

same, I just prscticed like 20 times with mock interview spam till got good at bullshitting. trucel trait is spamming practice at that shit while chad is good by default

not in chinatnor India . there it is very popular and common. In USA it is slowly dying but no where near dead

true. but many corps don't care, just the way it is ogre.

JavaScript is number one then python or java depending on location
Spend a fucking week and learn the sy tax. If you can't even learn the language you don't care and they know it
OP should use Quizlet or Anki flash cards

many companies still hire uglies as they are only competent people. Top tier tech companies filled with high IQ ugly gooks/curries

The first point is true. You will find jt very hard to get coding job with no degree. If you have a phywics math or other STEM, you can still do it without having to get CS degree though. A liberal arts one can work to but is very hard still.

concern 2 is not worrisome at this time. But could be a problem in 15-30 years. Lots of the current work flow is too random/hard to predict to automate in short term.

Concern 3 is valid, and yes many shitty corps and those are harder to avoid if starting off

Quizzing people on syntax is stupid asf. The interviewers clearly have zero programming experience.

I think getting into "programming" for money is a bad mindset for starting tbh. I'm a beginner too but I'm sure the right mindset and passion are very important in this field.

I think opinions like this might mislead you. Anyway, since we're in the context of this conversation (& AI), there's an article that I've read and I think it might be useful for you. I'll PM it if you don't mind.

Kek this is what I was thinking. Who tf cares about syntax. It takes 2 seconds to easily fix it

Do you have any recommendations for how I can succeed in my career as a data scientist? I’m in college rn. I am gonna try to get an internship this summer

The only reason to work is to make money. With everything in life I do a Cost VS Benefit analysis. If I won't get a good return on my investment, I won't bother investing.

Chasing dreams is what leads people to failure. As a society we just like to focus on the few existing success stories, but there are 1000 stories of failure for every success story.

I'll PM it if you don't mind.
Sure why not.

well you heard wrong lmao this is so completely wrong. every single company uses some spring based application in one way or another

I only got into programming for money and am doing fine. But I will agree at the very least you must not hate coding. If you hate it, you won't be able to grind the leetcode bullshit to money Maxx successfully nor do side projects(only matter early on but still key) to succeed.

I'd say research the job requirements and requirements for internships you see in advance. Also try to emulate resumes of those who've done what you see to do before you(note key words,libraries/projects to work with/on). In CS early on at least, side projects can halo you hard for internships (ofc worth less than actual previous experience but still decent boost). you can likely do a machine learning model on some diseases, traffic data set(scikit learn, tensor flow librarbies). Make some visualizations with it maybe too(power it). Have a website which let's people input data and see visualizations and anaylsiss based on what machine learning model says. Put this website on your GitHub and far more jmorptantly on your resume. Ideally have very good visuals as people do notice those and they stand out most early on.

Ugh, not sure tbh...

Lol, I agree. Btw tell me your programming languages you know :feelswhere:
I used to use java. But mostly doing python and Js work. I also used to know C/C++ but forgot it ogre. I'd say python is one I used most atm. other languages although not really programming ones would be SQL, bash,html/css and few others.

Damn, mogs me :fuk:
Wait.. don't tell me you are tech lead or something like that. That will be weird:dafuckfeels::feelshaha:

no am senior dev, but at a mediocre company. Am grinding leetcode to get to a good corp. Should hit 200k total salary pre taxes by end of next year. I fucked my career Maxxing when was younger since had no advice otherwise would have been a lead by now ogre.

I don’t have any projects. I don’t do this shit in my free time. I just do what’s required for my uni work

you should just copy some tutorial project and change it up somewhat and claim it as your own. Trust me, if you want to get a good internship, especially the ones that are paid, you'll probably need to have some leg up over the others sadly. Udemy has plenty of courses with GitHub projects u can copy and modify somewhat to be original enough to put on resume.

so what. tech jobs are for trannies anyway

Sometimes I regret not learning programming earlier, it seems to be basically the only profession who will safely exist in a few years.

I had an interview this week too, but I'm not confident at all. Apparently asking useless stuff is common on interviews, I had some on mine too lol
